About the program
In this chapter, students will explore the characteristics and differences between living and non-living things, understanding the fundamental processes that define life. They will learn about respiration, the process by which living organisms take in oxygen and release carbon dioxide, and excretion, the removal of waste products from the body. The chapter will also cover reproduction, the method by which living organisms produce offspring, and nutrition, the way organisms obtain and use food for energy and growth. Finally, students will be introduced to various areas of study within biology, providing a comprehensive overview of this vital science.
